Recreational Skill Lists

We have provided generalized lists of what gymnasts will train at each level of our recreational program. As you will see below, many skills are repeated throughout the levels. This is because gymnastics is all about muscle memory and repetition. In the more advanced levels, gymnasts will work on perfecting basic skills while training more complex skills. Gymnasts will move through logical progressions. For example, a Beginner I gymnast will vault onto a 16" mat, whereas a Beginner II gymnast will vault onto a large pit, and an Intermediate gymnast will vault over the pit or tabletop vault system. If you have any questions as to what class your child should sign up for, please call or email to schedule a skill assessment.
